Welcome to aerodrome compliance.

This programme is all you need to make absolutely sure that you understand what is involved in aerodrome standards, aerodrome compliance and aerodrome certification. No matter whether you are an aerodrome operator, perhaps involved in either runway works extension, day to day operation, or certification of aerodromes or if you're an inspector for an aerodrome authority, or perhaps a service provider, such as aerodrome ground lighting installer, or a designer. Whichever of those you are, what you need is this - a SYSTEM and this is the system that you need:

and I'll take you through these in micro steps later on in these presentations. Training is only one element of the package. The online element is supported by live coaching, and also by live support by text messaging or comments at the end of every session, and I'll show you an example of that later.

This course is delivered online, so here are some pointers to help you to gain the most benefit and the most efficient use of the course.

1. Always ensure that you scroll to the bottom of the screen to see the entire content, as well as to the bottom of each PDF.
2. Some PDFs have more than one page, just check the scroll bar on the right side of the PDF (not the screen), then the other scroll bar on the right side of the screen;
3. Download all essential supporting material, such as background documents, and the glossary. Some supporting material at the end of a module is labelled as optional, this is for your own background reading if you wish - it's up to you, and it will not be included in the end of course assessment;
4. You must complete each lecture before you can move on to the next;
5. Upon successful completion of the course, your certificate will be produced automatically and will be available for you to download as a PDF. The certificate has a serial number that is unique to you;
6. You are welcome to submit comments on each section of the course. In fact, I encourage you to submit comments or questions if you need any help with any of the lectures.
