Objectives

At the conclusion of the workshop, participants will be able to correctly:

• Outline the ICAO requirements for PAPI provision, siting and harmonisation
• Explain the practical implications of harmonisation
• Define MEHT and RDH and explain their relationship
• Given a PAPI design and RDH assess the compliance for harmonisation of particular aircraft types
• Assess wheel clearance over threshold for both RDH and MEHT

This workshop excludes electrical aspects of PAPI installation
